Connect, power and protect.

We’ve been at the forefront of innovation for more than a hundred years, helping to power, connect and protect the modern world.

Today, we’re working on a multi-year transformation to unlock our full potential.

Who we are

Rolls-Royce develops and delivers complex power and propulsion solutions for in the air, at sea and on land. As a broad-based power and propulsion provider, we operate in some of the most complex, critical systems at the heart of global society.

We have a differentiated position with a strong portfolio of products and technologies in attractive markets.

Our core operating businesses cover Civil Aerospace, Defence and Power Systems, supported by our Global Business Services Department (GBS), our Innovation Hub and Head Office team.

“As the executive sponsor of the LGBTQ+ networks at Rolls-Royce (and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community), I am proud to champion diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging at Rolls-Royce. Like many companies, Rolls-Royce has been on journey over recent years to ensure that we not only have a culture where every individual is celebrated for their unique contributions, and where diversity is not just accepted, but embraced as a source of strength and innovation but that we also have a workplace where people are safe to be their true self regardless of their diversity characteristics. Whatever small role I can play in supporting the continuation of that journey is a privilege and a responsibility I take very seriously. ”

Jane Stockwell - Senior Vice President, Commercial and Legal for Customer Team, Civil Aerospace

Bold ambitions need brilliant people

We’ve designed the world’s most efficient large aero-engine, powered nuclear submarines and enabled land-speed records. We’ve created game-changing engineering solutions for supersonic jets and even supported NASA missions on the edge of space.

Now, we’re building a Rolls-Royce that is fit for the future. That means a more streamlined and efficient organisation that will deliver for our customers, partners and shareholders. And most importantly, broader, more diverse careers for our talent and committed people.

Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

We are Rolls-Royce, a company where every person is valued, respected, and included for who they are and what they bring to the workplace. We are creating a workplace to enable every colleague to feel that they belong.

There’s only one you. Different to everyone else, but somehow the same. Rolls-Royce is unique too. And that’s because of our people.

How included people feel – such as being respected, heard, and recognised - is a core part of the experience of working here, and determining factor in whether this is a place they want to be.

This includes welcoming you into an inclusive culture focused on safety for our people and our products, empowering you to learn and develop the way you need to, and giving you challenging and rewarding opportunities to make a difference and progress in your career.

We operate a hybrid working arrangement, offer flexible working options and give ample reward and recognition. Our award winning Leatro learning platform enables you to build skills or re-skill in any area you want to, and our focus on creating a more environmentally, socially and ethically sustainable business gives us a rewarding purpose every day.

Our Global Inclusion Network

A truly global space for our eight Inclusion Networks to operate within, where they can promote inclusion and create belonging within Rolls-Royce. It’s a way for all colleagues to influence, and be involved in, the inclusion journey. The Global Inclusion Network has two aims:

1. To create a safe space and support the community they represent

2. To support the organisation in key moments of opportunity to help inform decision making

The Global Inclusion Network is safe space where you can learn and increase your awareness about specific communities.

Led voluntarily by a Chair, a committee of colleagues and sponsored by senior leaders, the networks foster an inclusive culture, increase awareness, enhance personal development and support the broader enterprise and inclusion objectives.

Colleagues can sign up to any of our networks to receive regular updates from them and hear more about the events they’re running or discussions they’re having.

Our Global Inclusion Network supports a richer and more inclusive workplace culture through providing support, enhancing our career development and contributing to personal development. They allow the voices of all our people to be heard, which helps encourage diverse ideas and ultimately enables us to deliver business excellence. They also help highlight issues that are relevant to a specific group of people and assist the organisation in recognising and challenging behaviours in the workplace.
